2024 Election Process Overview
1. Member Eligibility
- Only eligible members are allowed to vote, nominate and be nominated as candidates. The list of eligible members is posted, please review your membership status.
- If your name is not included in the list and you are a volunteer or have donated more to NAMCC in the last fiscal year then please contact the EC to correct your status. You may email the EC at ec@namcc.org
2. Nomination Phase:
- Nominate candidates by Nov 16, 2024
- No self nomination. Candidates must be nominated by another NAMCC member.
- Hard Copy Submissions: Forms available at NAMCC. Please fill all the information and place it in the box marked “Nominations”.
- Online Submissions (preferred): bit.ly/namcc-nominate
3. Nomination Acceptance By Nominee:
- An acceptance form will be sent to nominees.
- Read the NAMCC Constitution & Bylaws. Visit namcc.org/governance
- Nominees must complete the Acceptance Form by Nov 23, 2024
4. Get to know the candidates for EC and BT positions!
- Candidates profiles will be posted on a bulletin board in or around the lobby.
- Join us for meet-and-greet and community Q&A events.
BT Candidates
- Meet & Greet: Nov 29, 2024
- Community Q&A: Nov 30, 2024
EC Candidates
- Meet & Greet: Dec 6, 2024
- Community Q&A: Dec 7, 2024
5. Voting Information:
- Voting will take place on Saturday, Dec 14, 2024.
- Exact time period for voting is to be announced.
